Right of withdrawal for consumers

(A consumer is any natural person who concludes a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or profession.)

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier,

– took possession of the goods, if you ordered one or more goods as part of a single order and they are delivered together;

– took possession of the last good, if you ordered several goods as part of a single order and they are delivered separately;

– took possession of the last partial shipment or the last piece, if you ordered a good delivered in several partial shipments or pieces.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform

by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the model withdrawal form below; its use is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send the communication on exercising the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Consequences of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from your choosing a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which we received notice of your withdrawal from this contract. We will use the same means of payment for this reimbursement as you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged any fees because of this reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have supplied evidence that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.

You must send back or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any case no later than 14 days from the day on which you inform us of the withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you dispatch the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.

We bear the costs of returning the goods.

You only have to pay for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling that was not necessary to inspect the condition, features and functioning of the goods.

Exclusions and early lapse

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for

– the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and for whose manufacture an individual choice or specification by the consumer is decisive, or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer;

– the supply of goods liable to deteriorate rapidly or whose expiry date would be quickly exceeded;

– the supply of alcoholic drinks the price of which was agreed when the contract was concluded, which can be delivered at the earliest 30 days after conclusion of the contract, and whose current value depends on fluctuations in the market over which we have no control;

– the supply of newspapers, periodicals or magazines, except subscription contracts.

The right of withdrawal lapses early for contracts for

– the supply of sealed goods which are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if their seal was removed after delivery;

– the supply of goods which, after delivery, are inseparably mixed with other items;

– the supply of audio or video recordings or sealed computer software if the seal was removed after delivery.
